Hi Rod,

Terrible to think that 45c was the rate to overseas Countries still in 1985.

Today its less than the standard Inland rate. Nice Aerogramme though.

I have always felt basic postage is cheap Erich,
house to house for 45c seems like a good deal,
However if one collects mint, or you add some weight to family postage,
then the cost zooms.
I was in the Red Cross Stamp shop this morning,
and I note the modern aerogramme now comes in a "cover" format.
Never seen those before.

Apologies for the scan, I usually have crisp images,
I must have scanned this at 200dpi instead of 600dpi as I usually do.

Hi Rod,

Do you mean size-wise as Aerogrammes should not have inserts.

Just that I like crisp images Erich, this aerogramme was blurred.

Hi Rod,
Well done for the extra mile, pardon the pun ( in relation to the Aerogramme).
Amazes me how many poor images are shown on auction sites all over and they want to sell !
It is bad enough if the image can not be enlarged.
Then you get the seller who feels affronted when you ask him for a better picture.
I always thought a good image is part and parcel of good communication.
