Interesting Hong Kong Stamp - 1940s era

Hi. I would welcome thoughts on what this stamp is worth. I believe it was issued in the early 1940s when Hong Kong was under Japan's ruling for 3 years and 8 months.

It is Stanley Gibbons J2 1945 3yen on 2s red
(type 1 surcharge)
My 2005 SOTW (stamps of the world) list it at GBP 12 mint 21.00 used

It looks like it is in good nick,
if you base your value on 2005, and put it on ebay,
or in your local auction, you may double it, or you may be surprised.
Auctions continually surprise me.
I often bid for my local Cinderellas (Hutt River Province)
in the background at auction you hear people sniggering because they are just labels.
Ace auctions had a box of 'em last year, and they sold for IIRC $300, I had estimated $65.
Stamp valuing is a can 'o worms.
