German Post in Occupied Countries

Hi everyone,
How do you classify stamps from the DEutsches Reich, overprinted "Luxemburg" (so obviously printed when Germany occupied Luxembourg during WWII)? Under Germany, Luxembourg, or something else?
Thanks :-)

Hi jbennett,

I know nothing about the Luxemburg and Germany Occupation stamps. But i will classify the stamp that you mention under the Luxemburg area.Because i think the stamps were only using in Luxemburg.

Thank you for your reply, Pui. Does anybody else know anything about these stamps?

Hi,
In reallity when a foreign Country occupies another, they supply the stamps.
In this case, German stamps overprinted Luxemburg and you have the right angle - German Post in Occupied Countries.

A stamp catalogue could tell you more.
