German overprint and intro to new member

Hi everyone, I recently aquired a stamp/letter/postcard collection and need a little assistance as I'm a complete novice. Before making any moves, I've been studying the internet for about a month to get familiar with terminology and subtle differences. I would like to sell the whole collection eventually but for now I'm just playing a little. I know that some of the individual items have significant values as I have already had them appraised by a dealer.

Could someone please advise on the following..... I found this (Quoted from the website) "GERMANY - Scott 267 The rare inflation 800; overprint very hard to find. Nice, clean cancel. USED F GERW267RARE" on the site "Herrick stamp"

    http://www.herrickstamp.com/special_offers.php?resnum=4

Would someone please take a look at the image of my own stamps that I attach and tell me if you think I could be onto something or have I completely lost the plot. Many thanks. PS I had to condense the scan but if you are interested I can send a high res scan via email

PS My collection is approximately 30,000 stamps from all countries, all categorized. 3000 or more letters, most are wax sealed/opened and sealed by Censorship/On his majesty's service/Cancelled/Overprinted etc, maybe 1000 postcards. Around 20% of the whole collection is what I would class as mint, the rest vary. There are two distict era's, the early 1800's and the second world war. I also have a much interesting documentation.

You are probably meaning the 800 on 500M overprint.
Well that should be used with an identifiable postmark and expertised.
So sorry, as you said - you 'missed the plot' but get a catalogue for more discoveries.
